If there is one person on this earth besides Paris Hilton who expects unbridled attention, it’s Kim Kardashian (a trait she obviously stole from her mentor, Paris). Thus, the former Bruce Jenner’s decision to unveil his new persona as Caitlyn on the cover of Vanity Fair the day after Kimye’s announcement that they would be having a second child must have slightly killed Kim a little on the inside.
To help drum up the ratings for E!’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the revelation was pushed forth in a teaser for the show. Kim, whose sole task of late has seemed to be spawning a second child to keep Kanye firmly on lockdown, has expressed excitement over giving North a sibling (though it looks as though Kris Jenner is more elated about it at the moment than she is). While it’s been “exhausting” (as having sex on satin sheets in exotic places often can be), Kim’s quote unquote hard work has finally paid off–only to be ruined by Caitlyn Jenner’s headline-making.
Not one to be excluded from a headline, Kim has gotten her two cents in about the world’s introduction to Caitlyn, stating via Twitter (of course), “Caitlyn Jenner for Vanity Fair Annie Leibovitz! How beautiful! Be happy, be proud, live life YOUR way!” Though silently, she’s thinking, “You’ve ruined my baby buzz, you whore.” But then, that’s what happens when you become a woman: other women want to compete with you.
